http://picasaweb.google.com/HullBrewery Hull Brewery has its origins in the John Ward Brewery of Dagger Lane, Hull formed in 1765. A grandson
of John Ward, Robert Ward Gleadow formed the company Gleadow Dibb & Co. in partnership with W.T Dibb in 1865 and 3 years
later, having outgrown their Dagger Lane premises, they moved to the site in Silvester Street, Hull. In 1888 the firm
was registered as The Hull Brewery Co. Ltd. Finally Hull Brewery was taken over in 1973 by Northern Foods Group and
changed name to North Country Breweries.
